Situated high up in town, naturally there are steps to climb ( approx. 83.) but for those seeking space, privacy, comfort and above all an individual holiday home, the climb is worth . Parking may be tricky here but there is no need for a vehicle as restaurants, bars, boutiques and all immediate necessities are close at hand and a short walk or bus ride downhill leads to the two beaches. However, for guests with a car , parking can be arranged in a nearby private car park costing approximately Euros 25 per day payable locally. Accommodation: From the terrace with lemon trees, ideal for al fresco dining over looking Positano , entrance is into an airy and spacious sitting room with light streaming in from the large picture window, fireplace and dining corner . Along a corridor is one double bedded room with en-suite bathroom with tub and one twin bedded room with an adjacent shower room. Both bedrooms have been decorated and furnished in the same elegant style. All rooms lead out to the paved terrace partly shaded by a pergola of bougainvillea and wisteria providing shade. The terrace offers a spellbinding view of Positano and of the sea. It has been furnished with tables, chairs and sun loungers. Compact but very well equipped kitchen Access: 83 steps from road level to the property Distances: Few minutes walking down to the centre and 5 more min. to the main beach "Spiaggia Grande". A station for the internal yellow-bus is right on the road below. A short bus ride takes guests to the top of the village (every 15 min) from where one can get the blue buses marked SITA to Sorrento (1 h.) or Amalfi (1 h.). To the right of the main beach numerous ferries and hydrofoils ply daily between Positano and Capri (50min), Naples (50 min), Amalfi (30 min) and Salerno ( 1/2 h). Within few minutes walk there is a variety of shops, bars, internationally known boutiques and various restaurants. Airports: Naples 57 kms, Rome (Fiumicino) 266 kms
