Villa Larena is a well-equipped and family-friendly holiday home that sits within the quiet residential area of Crestatx, close to the historic town of Pollensa. It has all the facilities you need for a relaxing stay and has excellent outside spaces to keep everyone happy and entertained. With comfortable furnishings and a layout that suits family life perfectly, Villa Larena offers a welcoming atmosphere and a real home-from-home feel. The villa enjoys an elevated position, giving you lovely views of the lush, green surroundings and hills beyond. A beautiful open-plan living space greets you as you enter Villa Larena. Within the dining area is a table that seats up to six people and is positioned by doors that open onto the terrace. Further into space is a cosy lounge area with sofas you can enjoy sinking back into as you watch the television or as flames flicker away in the wood-burning stove on chilly nights. There are also more doors leading to the outside space and allowing plenty of natural light in. Adjacent to the lounge is a modern kitchen that comes with all the appliances you need during your stay, including a large fridge freezer, microwave and oven. There are four bedrooms in total, with three featuring double beds and one with twin beds. Each has their ensuite bathroom, and there's an additional guest bathroom also. Villa Larena has plenty to offer when it comes to outside space. There's a lovely first-floor terrace with outdoor seating, providing the ideal place to watch the sunset over the hills. The partially-covered central patio is home to more outdoor seating, with this area leading out to the private swimming pool terrace with a selection of sun loungers and a chill-out bed. Here also is a dining area that sits next to an outdoor kitchen with barbecue. Here you'll find shops and supermarkets that give you the chance to stock up on groceries and various other holiday essentials. There's also a good choice of restaurants, should you decide to stay close to the villa when heading out for an evening meal. Approximately a 15-minute drive away from the villa is the historic town of Pollensa. One of the most famous sites here is the Roman bridge that spans the river Sant Jordi. If you happen to visit the city while wearing sturdy footwear, you must take the steep uphill walk to the medieval chapel and watchtower of Puig de Pollenca, as you'll be rewarded with spectacular views. A 20-minute drive northeast will bring you to Alcudia, another historic town that also boasts a gorgeous stretch of sand called Playa de Alcudia. This beach is one of best in the area for enjoying a family day out by the seaside, with its soft, white sand and shallow waters that are perfect for the little ones to swim in. You can also enjoy a boat trip out to explore the coast and local area or hire some pedaloes and kayaks for having fun on the water at your own pace. Backing the beach is a long boardwalk lined with shops, restaurants and cafes. Head inland at Alcudia to discover a maze of winding streets lined with a mix of medieval houses, cafes, charming craft shops and chic boutiques, all nestled within 14th-century town walls. Some of the most exciting sites to visit include the medieval parish Church of Sant Jaume and the Roman ruins.
