RENTAL REGISTRATION NUMBER VTF/MA/04318 This quality spacious holiday villa is fully air conditioned and has free WiFi throughout. The private pool set in an attractive garden with well planted borders. Located in popular lively Calahonda, this holiday villa is close to many restaurants, bars and a mini-market. Property Description The south facing property is light and airy with size-able comfortable rooms and mature immaculate gardens with some distant sea views. At street level there is a gated parking area suitable for a normal sized car next to which is the Pedestrian gate which leads via steps down to the Villa entrance. On entering the Villa you reach the lobby off which is a cloakroom, stair access to the upper bedrooms and access direct into the lounge dining room. This spacious room is traditionally furnished with a fully functional feature fireplace, there is direct access to the garden terrace as well as views of the pool. Leading off the dining area there is a large well fitted kitchen with a breakfast table suitable for 4 person. From the lounge dining room also leads the Master Double bedroom with it en-suite. From the Lobby stairs lead up to the twin bedroom with en-suite shower room and the second double bedroom with a further en-suite bathroom. Both of these bedrooms have patio doors that lead out onto a large terrace with to the pool and the surrounding area. All the bedrooms are air conditioned at no extra cost. Patio doors lead from the lounge to a spacious covered terrace, this is perfect for dining or relaxing alfresco and looks out to the attractive pool. SHOPPING A 10 minute walk gets you to the local mini market located on the Strip where there are a number of local bars and restaurants. 5 minutes further gets you to the large El Zoco shopping complex, where there’s an excellent supermarket offering fresh fish, meat and bread counters. If you prefer to shop at the market there is one in La Cala (10 minutes away by car) every Wednesday and Saturday. During the summer season the shops all open on Sunday but outside that time you will need to use the mini shops at the petrol stations and the OpenCor supermarket chain. EATING OUT Really you are spoilt for choice; locally just round the corner from the Villa is a parade of restaurants offering Spanish, Chinese and Indian food all serving a variety of food at great value. Across at the El Zoco complex is an even larger choice of restaurants and bars - two of our favorites is Meson and El Olivo. Then of course there are the beach bars one is on the door step but there are lots of others too many to mention here and they are all good - try the paella its what this area is famous for. BEACH A short drive takes you to the excellent beach at Puerto Cabopino which is ideal for families as the beach is more like a UK one where you are able to wade in some distance before it gets too deep. Here you can either set up your own spot or stroll along to one of the Chiringitos which have sun beds ready laid out for you. We particularly like Luna beach which is located at the Marbella exit from Claahonda. SPORTS Calahonda has its own sports complex –Club del Sol – which is equipped with 12 tennis courts, 4 paddle courts, 4 squash courts and a 450m2 gym. Water Sports – from Pedalo’s to Hobicats and Water Skiing to Jet Skis all are provided by licensed operators. Tennis - can be found at the Don Carlos hotel in Elviria, Club El Casco in El Rosario and Club del Sol in Calahonda. Golf - Calahonda has its own par 3 - 9 hole course at La Siesta. For the more serious golfer the Costa del Sol boasts over 30 courses set in stunning locations. Snow Skiing - The Sierra Nevada ski resort is about 2 hours from us and the season runs from December into May. All equipment can be hired once you get there all you need is some warm clothes. OUT & ABOUT During your stay we recommend that you head for the rustic Andalucía countryside and visit some of the Pueblos Blanco’s (white villages), perched on the top of hills with breath-taking views and stunning scenery. The Moorish city of Ronda, the caves at Nerja and the Alhambra located in the city of Granada are all worth a visit, not to mention Gibraltar and across the straights to Morocco. There are so many activities available certainly enough to keep everyone happy. To keep life simple you can book day trips, and entry tickets from our Management company office located in Elviria.
