Details of the Apartment

This is a modern, child-friendly, 2 bedroom air conditioned apartment in the San Luis area of Torrevieja, Costa Blanca. Just 35 minutes from Alicante Airport. It's a very peaceful & relaxing location which overlooks two lakes (Salinas de Torrevieja and Salinas de la Mata) and a natural park (the Parque Natural). We are also just a short drive from good local restaurants, several Spanish villages, several golf courses and the lively town of Torrevieja. We are opposite a large communal swimming pool with a small pool for young children. Inside the apartment everything is on one level and includes a balcony which overlooks the communal pool. The balcony includes a small table and chairs and is accessed from the lounge/diner. There is also a large private roof terrace, also overlooking the communal pool and natural park, with two sunbeds a table and chairs and sun umbrella. The roof terrace is gated for child safety and is accessed by steps outside the front door. Master Bedroom - 1 king sized bed. This room overlooks the communal pool and includes a wardrobe, two bedside cabinets and a reading lamp. There is also a ceiling fan on the main light. Twin Bedroom - 2 Twin Beds. This room includes a double wardrobe. This is an ideal room for children and both beds can be pushed together if necessary. There is also a ceiling fan on the main light. The living room includes a TV with a selection of English channels, Netflix, Disney plus, Amazon prime and You Tube. We also have Wi-Fi for you to use with fast speeds. This room has air conditioning. The kitchen is open plan into the lounge with an electric oven and gas hob, washing machine, tall fridge freezer, coffee machine, microwave and kettle. The region enjoys 300+ days sunshine per year & is one of the healthiest climates (according to the World Health Organisation). Alicante Airport is a 35 minute drive/taxi. Murcia airport is a 45 minute drive/taxi. There is also an airport bus to and from Torrevieja depending on arrival/departure time. Shops, bars & dining - can be reached by walking for 10 minute(s). This includes a large Mercadona, several bar/restaurants, a property agents and a hairdressers. 5 minutes drive away we also have Carrefour and Lidl super/hypermarkets, plus the indoor Habaneras shopping centre. The apartment is just 10 minutes drive from an excellent beach at Guardamar which has golden sand for as long as the eye can see. We are also 5 minutes drive to the N332 coast road which leads to more beaches at Cabo Roig, Campoamor, La Zenia, Punta Prima, Playa Flamenca, Torrevieja and several others. Nearby Attractions: 2 minutes walk - local bar/restaurant (Oasis bar) with swimming pool, quiz nights, karaoke, crown green bowls and other community activities. 5 minutes drive or 25 minute walk, aqua-park (under 3s go free), English speaking doctor/pharmacy plus a selection of restaurants and bars. 10 to 25 minutes drive - weekly street markets at San Pedro, Orihuela, La Mata, San Miguel, Guardamar, Rojales, Torrevieja, Los Montesinos, Playa Flamenca, Zoco market and Lemon Tree Grove (enough markets to go everyday if you dare) 15 minutes drive - Go Carts at Playa Flamenca and English speaking hospital. 20 minutes drive - we understand there are good golf courses at Formentera, Algorfa, Villamartin, Las Ramblas, Campoamor, Rojales, Pilar de la Horadada and Casa Verea. 8 minute drive - Ten pin bowling and cinema. 12 or 16 minute drive - Hospitals 10 minute drive - Aquapolis, the big water park. Benidorm is just over an hour's drive or you can get a coach trip there. 6 minute drive - Spa at La Laguna hotel A regular bus service will take you to/from Torrevieja town centre. Here you have access of bars and restaurants, the seafront and pier, a daily street market, the marina, boat trips around the bay, an evening funfair, sandy beaches and the tourist office. Note that some attractions may not be available out of season. Apologies but smoking is not allowed in the property and pets are NOT allowed. Check in and check out is flexible depending on your travel arrangements
