"The living areas consist of an open-plan kitchen, dining area and sitting area with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, woodburning stove, and Freeview TV with a selection of books and DVDs, and a utility with washing machine and dishwasher. The bedrooms consist of a double with en-suite, a twin, and a bunk room, serviced by a bathroom and a ground-floor cloakroom. Outside there is a rear lawn, decked area with furniture, barbecue and hot tub, a shared 6-acre field with children's play area, and off-road parking on the shared driveway. One well-behaved dog welcomed, but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Guests also have access to a shared games room with a pool table, table tennis, table football, air hockey, and TV. The Hawthorns is a wonderful base for a family escape to Devon. Note: Fuel for the woodburner is available Oct-March; at other times of year fuel for stove can be purchased locally. "
