"Doomsday Barn as its name might suggest is a historic barn conversion of immense character and charm. It lies immersed in Mid Devon countryside close to the village of Rackenford and is well placed for exploring Exmoor. There are three bedrooms in total sleeping up to six people. There are two ground floor bedrooms and a family bathroom with the master bedroom on the first floor with en-suite shower room. A large open plan living area is spacious and light with vaulted ceilings and stone walls. The room has a kitchen with Belfast sink and gas range, a dining area, and sitting area with woodburning stove. On the first floor there is also a useful modern sitting room on a mezzanine overlooking the ground floor. Outside the barn has an enclosed lawn garden with walks on the doorstep. This is a lovely choice for a relaxing holiday and well placed for exploring the region."
