Alporchinhos 840 is a delightful 1-bedroom apartment, with the possibility of sleeping four, very close to the beach of Praia da Senhora da Rocha and the town of Armação do Pêra. Air conditioning is available in the apartment which also provides heat during the winter. Tastefully-furnished and fully-equipped including coffee machine and dishwasher the apartment has WiFi and covered parking. Guests have use of the basketball pitch at the end of the road and the apartment is close to the communal pool, with a café/restaurant, where the children’s pool is shaded at times through the day. Also, in a box in the apartment, there are noodles to use in the water, tennis rackets, a basketball etc. The property is located at the top of the steps to Senhora da Rocha beach. There are various other beaches within walking distance along with cafés and restaurants. There are two water parks within a 10-minute drive of the apartment and both run a return bus service every day. The theme park Zoomarine is not far, just a 15-minute drive, also running a bus service (must be booked ahead of time). Zoomarine's main attractions include exhibitions by dolphins, seals and sea lions, an aquarium with sharks, 4D cinema, various rides, attractions and swimming pools. The theme park is also a reception for injured wild aquatic animals that are released back into the wild once they have recuperated. If you are an animal lover, Lagos Zoo is also only a 30- to 40-minute drive away with the monkey islands being a great favourite with children. For keen golfers, there are 40 golf courses in the Algarve, of which many can be found within a 30-minute drive of the apartment.
