For less than the price of a small hotel room you can spend your vacation in a fully equipped home with it's own private pool, bar and tropical garden. Or choose to stay on the beach with a private rooftop patio with spa pool, BBQ, bar and shower.
Imagine being picked up at the airport and taken to your own private paradise. The next day take a full day tour of the island with one of our inexpensive but knowledgable " taxistas". In a typical tour he would show you all of the sites, stop at a rustic village for a typical (and inexpensive) margariteno lunch, and then end the day with a spectacular sunset at "Juan Griego". On the way back, he could take you to the store for supplies before dropping you at home. Aricagua, Isla Margarita
There are many beaches, towns and sights to see on the island. Gas is cheap ( pennies per liter) and this makes it affordable to rent a car and tour about.There are historic churches and buildings, horseback riding, casinos, duty-free shopping....a typical full meal of meat or fish, at a medium to good restaurant will only cost about $8US/person. Alcohol and tobacco are also inexpensive. This combines with a high exchange rate enabling us to live the lifestyle of luxury at budget prices.
