The area of Covas Do Barroso is the true Portugese life. The village is based in a rural area with moutains all around. The lakes near the village are based 20mins away by car which the locals use as the lake beach with watersports available. The village consists of two bars which serve drinks and coffee, also ice cream and sweets for the children, one bar also has a pool table area. The nearest bakery and supermakret is based 8 km away, along with the nearest restaurant, with several restaurants at Beca, and the nearest town Boticas with banks, free internet at Library, supermarkets, doctors, dentist, hairdressers etc. The nearest city is Chaves about 35 mins away, with large supermarkets, shops, banks, local health spa water springs, restaurants Casino with nightly show and dinner for €20 per person. The douro for wine and port lovers is a must for a visit and is a 1.5hrs drive away. The larges market in europe is based in Barcelos thursdays 2hrs drive, well worth trip.

Rental Conditions
Terms of Payment: 50% deposit on booking - balance due 6 weeks prior to arrival.
Deposits: Non refundable - but credit will be issued for a period of 12months.
Payment Method - Paypa, cheque, bacs into sterling account or euros into Portugese Account, Debit Cards (no charge) Credit Cards 2.5% charge.
Directions will be given when details of flight/ferry bookings are advised to us, plus balance on booking.
Keys will be at property on arrival, local caretakers within the village.
