Great third floor apartment (reached by lift or stairs!) on a well equipped relatively new site in Chlorakas, which is on the outskirts of Paphos in Cyprus. Near enough to the town of Paphos with all of the amenities that it offers, but far enough away to get some peace and quiet. The apartment has one bedroom with double bed and the a double (very comfy) sofa bed in the lounge. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine, full sized cooker with oven, toaster, kettle........ The lounge also has a dining table and chairs, tv and dvd player. There is airconditioning in the apartment and a bathroom with shower/bath. There are 3 large double doors leading from the lounge out to a large balcony with pool view. The balcony has another dining area as well as a sofa and chairs to relax in. There is also a roof terrace with views over the village and the sea in the distance. The site has an indoor pool, gym, sauna and massage room. There is an excellent restaurant on site offering meals all day, and a small shop for basic essentials and souvenirs. There are several outdoor pools from toddler shallow pools, to deeper pools, all in landscaped grounds with rocks and water cascades.
Nearby the local village has tavernas, supermarkets, fruit market and bakery for all the essentials. The town of Paphos has a beautiful harbour with great restaurants, the ancient Fort, the world famous Mosaics, boat trips, dive schools and so much more. Beach at Coral Bay, mountains..
The easiest way to get to the apartment from the UK is to fly to Paphos airport and then to either pick up a hire car from the airport or else use a local taxi to get to the apartment. The journey takes approx. 30 minutes and so a car hire is the cheapest option in the long term as it can then be used to explore the island. The complex is in a village on the outskirts of Paphos town - there are local buses to get into the town centre, although if you do have a car there is free parking in Paphos. The village is on the hillside about a mile from the sea as the crow flies - it is a bit cooler in the hot summer months then being on the coast. The resort itself is quiet in the evenings and so sleeping is not a problem!! There are a few tavernas in the village, a bakery, chemist, ice cream shop and supermarkets. There is also a fruit market nearby.
Deposit of 10% to reserve apartment and then balance due 6 weeks before departure. We ask for a security deposit of £150 which is refunded after the holiday is over, to cover us in case of any damage. Payment by cheque, bank transfer or through Paypal please. High chairs and cots can be rented on site and payment made to Site Manager.
