A superb family home which stands majestically at the head of the much sought after Sennen fishing cove with glorious views of Cape Cornwall, the Western Approaches and the Atlantic Ocean stretching into the distance. Renovated to a very comfortable standard and awarded four stars (excellent) from Visit Britain, Grassmead is an ideal self catering cottage to use as a holiday retreat throughout the year for the all the family as it benefits from a garden to the side of the house with those fabulous Sennen Cove views and a small conservatory which doubles as a “boys rumpus room” complete with table soccer, CD player and sofa – perfect for that rainy day! Decorated throughout in rich and warm colours with chocolate brown leather sofas and wood laminate floors, Grassmead is a very spacious and comfortable holiday cottage in Cornwall which exudes a relaxing and contemporary atmosphere for today's discerning guest. Ideally situated 0.5km from Penzance on the very top of the hill overlooking Sennen Cove, guests have the option of either spending the day lazing on the fabulous mile and a half of white sand. As a holiday destination, Sennen Cove has been a firm favourite for families, surfers and romantics for decades and has changed very little over the years with its pretty little harbour, picturesque granite cottages, lifeboat station, pub, shop, gallery and restaurants.

1 mile from Lands End and just a few metres to coastal paths leading to Sennen Cove, Cornwall and St Just. The open air Minnack Theatre and open topped bus route to St Ives and Penzance (0.5km) are close by.


Traveling by car from Exeter take the A30 to Bodmin, continue all the way to Penzance by staying on the A30 to Lands End until you reach the mini rounabout at Sennen. Turn right onto Cove Road, and 500 yrds on the left is Grassmead.

Booking Terms & Cancellation Policy


Terms and Conditions
Holiday properties suitable for families and couples
The owners of Grassmead/Grasscroft wish to ensure their visitors a happy and enjoyable holiday and suggest guests take out liability & general holiday insurance.
Grassmead/Grasscroft may be hired solely for holiday occupancy. The owners of Grassmead/Grasscroft reserve the right to terminate the occupancy whether held under agreement or otherwise, where in their opinion the property conditions are not being observed.
Booking
On completion of the on line booking form you will reserve the property immediately subject to receiving a 30% deposit. Once accepted a contract will exist.
The balance of payment plus a security deposit of £60.00 (refundable) should reach us no later than 56 days before arrival. The due date will be written on the booking form and the balance receipt forwarded to you at confirmation of booking. No further reminders will be issued.
Failure to remit the balance of payment by the due date reserves the owners right to cancel the holiday and retain the deposit. We would endeavor to re-let the cancelled booking but where this is not possible full payment will be reclaimed.
Security deposit
The deposit will be returned two weeks after the holiday in full except where deductions for excess cleaning, damage, breakages or loss of keys occur. The owners reserve the right to pursue for any damages not covered by the deposit.
Should a client cancel a booking before the balance due date any deposit refund would be at the discretion of the owners. If a refund is agreed the deposit would be subject to administration costs of £25 there may also be advertisement fees which would be at cost.
The hirer
Is obliged to allow only the persons named on the booking form to stay at the property.
To adhere to the strictly NO SMOKING Grassmead/Grasscroft, one small pet allowed at Grasscroft only.
Shall ensure that the property is left in a clean and tidy condition, utensils and equipment to be cleaned.
Shall ensure that rubbish is placed in the bins provided.
Shall behave in a manner not to cause nuisance or offence to any neighbours and adjoining properties.

Any guests failing to comply with conditions stated will be asked to leave immediately, subject to breach of contract.

No refunds will be made.
