The vibrant market is held every Tuesday and the 14th century Chateau Talleyrand, are just two of the interesting places to visit locally. You’ll find Mareuil just 5 minutes by car from Le Petit Fournil.
Brantôme; being 15 minute drive south from Le Petit Fournil, is known locally as the 'Venice of the Périgord'. Sitting upon the pretty River Dronne, it's a delight to visit - the old Abbey dates back to the 11th Century. You'll find a host of shops, bars and restaurants including the legendary Moulin de l’Abbaye and the nearby Moulin du Roc both of which boast Michelin rosette
