A small Georgian Harbour Town, with one of the best blue flag beach in Europe stretching all the way to Bournemouth, the Jurassic Coast starts at the mouth of Poole Harbour and continues towards Weymouth.

Poole is surrounded by some of the prettiest towns and Villages in Dorset, Swanage is a short drive either by Ferry or road, by Ferry you pass through the Village of Studland from were you can walk to Old Harry down to Swanage itself, walking along the cliffs look behind you at the spectacular View over Poole Bay to Bournemouth and the Isle of Wight. Follow the signs to Corf Castle go back into history on the (fee) 6 miles heritage Swanage Steam Railway.

Poole and Bournemouth is very accessible as they are the last towns at the end of the M27 from the M3.
