Charming Chalet l'Homme de la Lune is a south-facing traditional alpine chalet only 5 minutes drive from the idyllic village of Manigod, with panoramic views across this stunning valley. You can quickly unwind in this spacious and beautifully furnished chalet. The living area has a cosy open fire with a generous store of wood for your use and lovely furnishings throughout. It's also open plan which ensures that all your guests can while the evenings away comfortably. It also has WIFI, flat screen TV, English and French Satellite, DVD, subtle lamp lighting and many other features to help make you feel at home. The balcony is a great place to eat al fresco, sunbathe or simply sit and relax as you enjoy the tranquillity of the surroundings. This is a very lovely property indeed.


Idyllic Manigod village is very special. Whilst it is geared to the needs of visitors, it still has the genuine feel of a traditional farming community. It has a fantastic boulangerie and the excellent Val Sulens restaurant serves fresh, local dishes such as Raclette and Tartiflette. Less than an hour from Geneva, the region provides a superb all-season base.

In winter there's a huge ski area to enjoy with a fabulous snow record. La Clusaz and Grand Bornand share a single Aravis Ski pass that provides 220km of skiing and 95 lifts with slopes suitable for all levels including extensive off-piste areas. You can be on the La Clusaz pistes in under 10 mins and enjoy free parking.

There are plenty of activities to enjoy in summer too ranging from mountain-biking, alpine walking and horse-riding through to mountaineering, climbing and paragliding. There's also high-wire forest adventure centres for the whole family to enjoy. With such a vast expanse of tracks, trails, paths and sky across fragrant alpine meadows you'll never run out of fresh challenges to go for.

Whatever the season, Medieval Annecy with its pretty network of canals and picturesque lake is just 30 minutes away. Soak up the carnival atmosphere, browse the quaint shops and markets or escape the city's hubbub onto one of the many international-standard golf courses. The lake itself has some fabulous beaches and offers kitesurfing, windsurfing, sailing, waterskiing and fishing for water-lovers. And what a backdrop! There's much more to explore in the region besides. No matter which outdoor activities you're into, you're sure to have a fantastic holiday at any time of the year.
