Festivals and concerts are widespread in the summer. Every village has its weekly market and its annual fete, often with fireworks.

Summers in the region are very hot. But our thick stone walls preserve an even temperature, and our elevated position is exposed to breezes.

Montcuq is 5 minutes' drive away, Cahors 30 minutes. There is a market in Montcuq every Sunday morning, and markets in neighbouring villages on most days of the week.

The Tourist Office in Montcuq is full of detailed information about the region. Opportunities include : —

Booking Terms & Cancellation Policy

• The rents shown are inclusive. They cover electricity, gas for cooking and BBQ, swimming pool, heating oil, logs in season, local telephone, cleaning. There are no extras.
• Tenancies start and finish on Saturdays. A week is treated as belonging to the month in which it starts.
• The rents shown are for lets of 1-3 weeks. We are ready to discuss terms for longer lets.

Booking. We accept bookings by telephone, e-mail or post. It is usually best to ring and enquire about availability, so that if satisfied you can make a verbal reservation then and there. A verbal reservation will be held for seven days to allow time for written confirmation to arrive. On verbally agreeing a booking, we will ask you to complete a booking form (attached below) and to send us a rental deposit of 50% of one week's rent in order to secure your booking.

After that, we ask you to pay the balance not later than two months before your arrival date. We also ask for a security deposit of £250 against damage (or leaving the house in an unacceptable state.) This is payable with the final balance. It will be returned one week after your return home, less any deductions due.
