Champex Lac enjoys a unique setting, situated on a lake at 1,500 metres nestled between the foothills of the mountains around the Trient glacier, part of the Mont Blanc area and the totally isolated Catogne. Some 19 km from Martigny and 9 km from Osieres, this beautiful and tranquil family resort, is only 1.5 hours drive from Geneva. There is a 3 times a day bus service to and from Osieres, where a connection by train can be made to Martigny. For a full appreciation of the area and ease of access, a car is recommended.

Skiing in the winter and walking in the summer are the traditional past times, but there is so much more to enjoy. The scenery is breathtaking and there is much to explore and enjoy - there is something for everyone.

There is plenty of wonderful sightseeing within an hours drive, including historic castles, botanical gardens, internationally reputed art galleries and music festivals, shopping, golf, mountain biking, sailing, boat trips on lac lemain, excellent cuisine, wine tasting and thermal baths.

Except for the French farm oak dining table, all the wooden furniture is of a contemporary style made of Brazilian waxed pine. The apartment has a home from home feel, with an emphasis on leisure and comfort in a contemporary context. Soft lights and a wood burning fire add ambience and warmth to the living room. Rental Conditions
Notes on prices
Weekly rental prices include local management services and utilities, although a surcharge for excess electricity and heating usage may be levied or where utility prices rise excessively. Linen provision and cleaning (at end of stay) are not included in the rental price, and are paid locally to the local manager. Tourist taxes of Swiss Francs 1.80 pppn (Swiss Franc 0.90 for child 6 to 18) is payable directly to the local tourist office.

Multiple weeks can be negotiated subject to availability and seasonal periods. Long let available on a yearly basis. Prices and terms are subject to change without notice.

Changeover day
Saturday to Saturday, unless otherwise agreed with the owners. Arrival between 4pm and 8pm and departure by 10am, unless otherwise agreed with the owners and local manager.

Booking Notes
Enquiries and bookings are handled directly with the owners. Bookings are only confirmed upon receipt of a signed rental agreemeent together with the rental payment and a surety deposit of Swiss Francs 500 by bank transfer. Please note that the rental payment is non refundable and holiday cancellation insurance is recommended. The deposit will be returned within 30 days following occupancy after deduction for any damages, missing inventory, supplemental cleaning and non payment of tourist tax, togther with any related administration and delivery charges attributable to repairs or the procurement of replacement inventory. No smoking, pets possible.
