Details of the House

The house has two bedrooms, one double, one twin both being on the ground floor along with the family fully fitted bathroom. The double has air conditioning and patio doors leading onto the south facing lower terrace over looking the secure gardens and weir pool.

Upstairs, patio doors lead from the large fully equipped lounge to the larger balcony, facing south. Along with A/con a log burner is fitted making it an ideal place for out of season visits. There is a small cloakroom and modern spacious fully equipped kitchen/Diner. A small balcony, which overlooks the town to the west and enjoys the evening sun, leads off the kitchen.

Entertainment for children and adults is very well catered for, English Sky TV, music system, Ipad dock,Wii, PS2, Books, Board games, DVD' and video players are provided, along with CD's, DVD's and Video's to amuse both Adults and Children.

Large comfortable lounge, well appointed with all that you may require. Updated most years, We always ask for suggested improvements, We think we have thought of everything, Now there is a challenge!! Latest is a baby gate on the stairs.

PLEASE NOTE: For your and our peace of mind the property has an annual safety check by qualified engineers, also fitted are Co2 monitors,smoke alarms, fire extinguisher and fire blanket.

Comfortable, good size, plenty of wardrobe space, hair dryer/mirrors in both, traditionally furnished. It is our house which we use, so we make it comfortable for us, hopefully it will be comfortable for you. The house comfortably sleeps 4 but we do have a double and single blow up beds with their own pump to inflate and deflate. These are very good, we have used them to make sure. The twin has a safe in the cupboard. All linen is provided.

Main bathroom on the ground floor, Bath with shower over, Bidet, wash basin and toilet. Situated equidistant from both bedrooms. Cloakroom with toilet and hand basin is on the upstairs floor. Towels are provided.

Journey's End is located in Praia da Luz, West Algarve

Luz is just 7km from Lagos, the main town of the western Algarve. Lagos is a beautiful town with a busy marina, restaurants and bars. Luz is more a village, but boasts some 73 bars and restaurants, It has a long sandy beach with water sports and is ideal for children. Within a 20 minute drive you have a choice of 4 superb golf courses. About a 30 minute drive you can visit the west coast, especially Cape da Vincent, the most south westerly point of mainland Europe.

Excursions are in abundance, all described in the red book in the house and all local pickup. Our two favorites have to be a jeep safari up into the mountains of Monchique, wild, with a very knowledgeable guide and the Seafari, Dolphin watching, no problem on the rare occurrence that you do not see a Dolphin, the boat trip is awesome.

On confirmation of any booking we send out all sorts of useful information, Directions, suggested eating places and what to do and where to go. Or you could just eat,sleep and relax.
