1. Cornwall is the most southwest county of Great Britain,
2. The name Cornwall comes from the words “Cornovii” and “Waelas,” meaning hill dwellers and strangers.
3. Cornwall has the longest coastline in Great Britain which is 433 miles.
4. Cornwall only has one city - Truro
5. Cornwall has over 75,000 cows
6. A team of bakers from Bodmin, Cornwall, hold the record for baking the biggest Cornish pasty; which weighed 1900lbs
7. No one goes to prison in Cornwall, because there isn't one.
8. The Eden Project's largest biome is fifty metres high, big enough to house the Tower of London.
9. There are over 300 beaches in Cornwall
10. Cornwall has its own language – it is not widely spoken but is taught in schools! Dydh da. That means ‘hello' in Cornish!
